Diane Larson Williams (1931-2004)

Diane grew up in Morris, Minnesota, where she graduated from high school in 1949.

She attended Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, graduating with honors in 1953.  She later attended the University of Minnesota, receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree.  In 1955 she married Evan Williams.

Diane pursued her career as an artist throughout her life as a teacher, sculptor, and painter, with showings in Japan and the United States.  She was also very active in peace and social justice issues during her life.

Diane passed away unexpectedly at home on April 21, 2004.
