Judy Nunneley 

 

JJudy Nunneley is an artist and educator whose creative work encompasses mixed media, textiles, installations, and artist's books.  She has exhibited her work in over 100 solo, invitational and juried exhibitions.

 

Judy was born in Dallas, Texas.  She earned Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees from the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma; and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. 

 

She has taught art at The College of Design at the University of Minnesota, and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.  She has also taught at the Split Rock Arts Program, Grand Marais Art Colony, Branigan Cultural Center, Homewood Studios in Minneapolis, the Textile Center of Minnesota, and the Ghost Ranch in New Mexico.  Finally, she has taught and helped create art programs and curricula for K-12.

 

Judy was a WARM (Women’s Art Registry of Minnesota) Gallery Collective member and she served as a mentor in the WARM Mentor Program.
